Guate! Guate! Guate!
The last photos I took with my beloved D70 before it was stolen. Now that I am camera-less and having to depend on others for photos, these will probably be the last shots that will be up on the web for a while.
Hace es la vida.
The photos start off in the colonial, kind of toursity town of Antigua where I spent a week with Tania, suprising Nikki, before Fee and Mike came down. There's some shots from the markets at Chichicastenango, some markets around in Antigua and a white version of the first sigma I owned. Not quite big whitey, but it brought a tear to my eye all the same. The tears could have been the black exhaust, but who knows.
More shots of time around Antigua, the cross that shadows the city and the group that went mountain biking down the Volcan Agua, then the teary goodbyes of Nikki and Tania.
Then the shots move onto Panajachel, my room in the family´s house, the mute girl, Amaury, a walk through a nature reserve. There´s Nikki´s dirty hands, Victor, the 14 year old bar owner / drug dealer.
Then that stupid volcano and the stupid ferry ride over to it.
Stupid Volcanoes.
